Solar Sheep

This image was captured as part of my only commissioned professional photo session so far. Through a series of connections originating in my membership in the Miton Artists' Guild of Milton, Vermont, I was put in contact with a developer who wanted pictures taken of the solar project they managed. They had recently reached an agreement to allow sheep to graze on the property to keep the grass down around the panels.

The photograph was taken on the first day of two days of shooting and was published in an advertisement campaign in the Burlington Free Press and other local papers. Also, a renewable energy conference in the area picked it to use on post cards to solicit vendors to attend the conference.
